A young Cooper’s hawk was stuck in the stairwell of a parking garage in Michigan. The city of East Lansing said on Facebook that its workers discovered the trapped raptor at the Charles Street Garage on Thursday.
An animal rescuer from Wildside Rehabilitation and Education Center was sent to the scene by the East Lansing Parking Division, which asked for their help.
The hawk was guided out of the stairwell and to the open air by the rescuer, who watched it fly away.
