A skilled cocker spaniel from Scotland displayed an extraordinary talent and achieved a Guinness World Record by skillfully placing 23 coins into a piggy bank within a minute using only its mouth.
After investing approximately two years of training, Emily Anderson from Aberdeen, Scotland, revealed that her four-year-old dog named Leo has successfully acquired the skill of depositing 10-pence coins into a piggy bank.
Leo made an official record attempt in front of numerous witnesses at Logie Durno Village Hall, aiming to deposit the highest number of coins into a piggy bank within a one-minute time frame.
Within the given timeframe, the dog successfully deposited 23 coins into the bank, surpassing the previous record of 18.
According to Anderson, she has spent the past two years constantly drying numerous 10p coins. Each time Leo picks them up, they become drenched in saliva, making them difficult to handle and necessitating further drying, she explained to Aberdeen Live.
As a skilled dog trainer, Anderson mentioned that Leo possesses a repertoire of impressive talents, which extend beyond coin depositing. Among his other remarkable skills are painting, playing tennis, and even performing CPR maneuvers.
